Yes. Creating and publishing an event is free, and free tickets never incur a fee. You only pay when a paid ticket sells.
How is the platform fee calculated?
It's 4% of the ticket price plus $0.75 per paid ticket for standard events, or 4% + $0.50 for registered nonprofits. For example, a $25 ticket carries a $1.75 platform fee.
Can I pass the fee on to attendees?
Yes. At checkout you can choose to absorb the fee yourself or pass it to attendees, so selling on EventCobby costs you nothing out of pocket.
Are there monthly or hidden fees?
No. There is no subscription, no setup cost, and no charge on free tickets or free events. Printed tickets are an optional one-time add-on.
When do I get paid?
